And this is just the beginning...
* Fresh Jersey Spinach
The first crop of the season is ready now! Nothing compares to the unique sweet flavor of fresh spring spinach. Great as a crisp salad or a tasty side dish... come on over and grab a bunch!
* Local New Jersey Greenhouse tomatoes
Lush, red and ready in mid April, our tomatoes are not and never have been refrigerated. "It just ruins the flavor," explains farm co-owner John Ebert. "When you ship tomatoes long distances it pays to refrigerate them for hardiness, but you lose so much in taste when this happens. Fortunately for us, our tomatoes only travel from our backyard to your kitchen."
We also have...
* English Peas - sweet,young and perfect!
* Strawberries
This year's strawberries which were lovingly planted last fall are looking great! Stay tuned for our Strawberry Social celebration when our berries come to lush and ripe fruit by the end of May and beginning of June.
* Beautiful flowers
Vibrant gladiolas, delicate lilies, bright and perky peonies... you'll need to plan them all NOW in order to enjoy their lovely colors this summer. (Psst! Plant your perennials now too!) |
