Just because the summer is over doesn't mean we don't have "Jersey Fresh" produce. Stop in for some Jersey tomatoes, including the Ramapo. Pick up some sweet corn while your here as well. This year the "Pumpkin Lady" is back too, so stop in to pick up a painted pumpkin. Who we are… For almost 60 years, our family has owned and operated Springdale Farms. We live here, we work here, we raise our crops here…and from these 100 lush and wonderful acres, we provide our neighbors with outstanding produce, herbs, flowers, fresh baked goods…and much, much more. What we do… During the first soft days of spring, our perennials, hardy pansies and herbs come into bloom, followed by the color and beauty of a host of flowers. A Master Gardener is on duty to answer your planting and growing questions. And hayrides begin…a treat for kids and adults alike! Then our crops begin in the summer… fresh, ripe tomatoes, deliciously sweet corn, crispy spinach…these are among the more than 35 crops we grow and sell right here – from our fields to your table. That kind of nutrition doesn’t come from a supermarket case! In the fall… pumpkin picking, campfires and lots of tasty home baked pies for your Thanksgiving table. And as the growing year ends for us, the clean smell of evergreen and the bright colors of holly and poinsettia pervades our market, ending one year and making room for the next. And for you that means… Seasons. Growing. Changes. That’s what farming is all about. And that’s the kind of vibrant transformation that Springdale Farms goes through each and every day, each and every week of our growing season. Come visit us… shop at our market.
